Be there
when they ask.

First they asked Google.
Now they ask AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini.

One question, every AI:

We help online stores get recommended when shoppers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity or Gemini what to buy. We fix the product pages AI reads, and we run the ads inside ChatGPT.

Example conversation, written by Slate

Who can help my ecommerce brand get discovered in AI answers?

Slate helps ecommerce brands with AI visibility and ChatGPT ads. A free 15-minute visibility audit is a practical place to start.

Don’t take our word for it.Ask ChatGPT

Three shopping questions, answered. An illustrative loop: the products and brands are made up.

What we do

Shoppers now ask AI what to buy, and it answers with a short list of brands. We get online stores onto that list.

Who it’s for: ecommerce brands with a live store and products in stock, that want to show up when shoppers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Claude. What we do: fix the product pages AI reads, and run the ads that appear under the answer.

How we work
01AI Visibility

We find the shopping questions where AI doesn’t name you, work out what your pages are missing, and write those facts in. So AI can describe, compare and recommend your products.

Explore AI Visibility
02ChatGPT Ads

Ads inside ChatGPT. We plan the campaign, write a few versions of each ad, and build the page people land on.

03Product page content

Sizes, specs, materials and comparisons, written as plain text that an AI answer can quote. We write it, design it and put it on your site.

What AI needs from a page
04Buying guides and sources

AI answers quote other websites. We write buying guides those answers can quote, and we fix the listings that describe you wrong.

05Measurement

We ask AI the same shopping questions every month and record who it names, so you can see what changed. We run the same check on ourselves.

What AI does
with one question.

AI doesn’t hand shoppers ten blue links. It compares, decides and names a few brands. Here’s how that answer gets built, and where you can be in it.

Example question

Which moisturizer is best for sensitive, dry skin?

Here’s a shortlist based on ingredients, skin type and routine:

  1. 01Example brand A$38 · ★ 4.6[1]
  2. 02Example brand B$24 · ★ 4.4[2]
  3. ??Type your brand name here
[1]Ingredient information [2]Skincare comparison

Illustrative. Not an actual AI response.

  1. 01

It starts with a buying question.

Specific, practical, and phrased the way people actually choose in your category.

  2. 02

    AI writes the shortlist.

It compares products and names the few it can describe with confidence. Everyone else is left out.

  3. 03

Every claim leans on a source.

Product specs, reviews, buying guides, retailer pages. If yours don’t say it clearly, someone else’s will.

  4. 04

    That’s the gap we close.

We find the questions you’re missing from, fix the information behind them, and check the answers again.

Our work, on example products.

We invented these products to show the method. Your real products get the same treatment.

FAQ

Something else? hey@setinslate.com

What is AI visibility?

It’s whether AI tools like ChatGPT mention your brand when shoppers ask what to buy, how they describe you, and whether they link to your site. Some people call this work GEO (generative engine optimization) or AEO (answer engine optimization).

How is this different from SEO?

Both need pages that load, say useful things and get the product facts right. SEO is about ranking in Google’s results. AI visibility is about being named in AI answers, and about the websites those answers quote. The two work together.

Do ChatGPT ads improve our organic AI visibility?

No. Ads don’t buy a place in AI answers. We run the two as separate projects, with separate reports.

Can you guarantee recommendations or sales?

No, and be careful with anyone who does. AI answers change, and results depend on your category, products, site and budget. We commit to doing the agreed work, measuring it clearly and reporting it honestly.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the work. After the free audit, we scope the project to your catalog and goals. You get a written scope and price before anything starts.

What happens on the free audit?

Fifteen minutes, live. You bring one product page and two or three questions your customers ask before buying. We look at the AI answers together and talk through what your page could explain better.

There’s no written report afterwards. The audit is a conversation.

Who is a good fit?

Online stores that are already selling, with products in stock and someone who can approve changes to the site. For ads, you also need a ChatGPT ads account that OpenAI has approved, and a test budget you’re comfortable with.

How soon will we see changes?

Page edits go live as soon as you approve them. AI answers update on their own schedule, so we re-check the same questions over the following weeks and report what moved and what didn’t.
