Slate is two founders helping ecommerce brands show up when shoppers ask AI what to buy. You talk to the people who do the work, from the first question to the finished page.
Ethan comes from design and build. Slate began as a design and build studio, and he still writes, designs and ships the page changes himself. He researches the questions your shoppers ask, and he’s who you’ll meet on your audit.
Dmitry is Slate’s COO and leads delivery: tracking, measurement and the systems that keep every engagement on schedule. If something needs connecting, tracking or automating, it goes through him.
We care about the questions between finding a product and deciding to buy it. Will it fit? What is it made of? Is it right for me?
Those used to be answered by a product page and a few reviews. Now shoppers ask AI, and AI answers by reading those pages for them. When the page doesn’t say it, the answer can’t either. So that’s where we work.
Slate is a rock that splits cleanly along its layers. The mark isn’t a drawing: it’s five ratios, and every version of it is generated from them.
